CONQUERING THE CAIRNGORMS

Mark and Stephen set off from Peterborough on the 12th May for Malling. Some 15 hours later they arrived at midnight after a series of slow train journeys. 

The next day they were up to catch the ferry (a fishing boat) to Inverie for the start of the 2016 “Great Outdoors Challenge”! 

For the first four days the weather was great and the duo were at risk of sun burn. The scenery was epic as they trekked through the Knoydart area of Scotland then onto the Monadhliath Mountains through the Cairngorms where they completed the trek in St Cyrus after 12 days!
