Anna had always wanted to be a doctor but thought with her amputation it would be too physically demanding. Anna qualified as a doctor in June 2020.

Love, share, donate – shower the world with hearts
Artist Jo Buonaguidi has been busy during the pandemic raising money for the Skeletal Cancer Trust.
Jo has been a supporter of this great charity for a number of years, since receiving her own treatment at the RNOH. She felt so inspired by Sir Captain Tom’s fundraising that she painted a commemorative artwork. The prints of the work have been selling and so far have raised nearly £2000 for the charity. In December, Jo kindly donated the original painting and it now hangs proudly in the outpatient department of the hospital.
Jo’s next piece of work for SCT was to create this Valentine’s Day campaign to say thank you to the NHS staff, not just at the RNOH, but all over the country she said “let’s create a shower of Valentine’s, there has never been a better time to say ‘I love you’ to so many people.”
